A family's collected life provided the starting point. Inherited pieces set the terms and the design expanded from there, finding materials and gestures that could hold their own without competing with such storied objects.
Grasscloth wallcovering in the living room and hand-crocheted Roman shades were chosen to let the clients' personal art collection shine. In the dining room, an Iksel mural wraps the space to create a transformative experience.
The entry announces the home: lacquered ceiling in a warm terracotta grounds the arrival sequence with unexpected depth and color.
